In case ya'll haven't noticed, Light now has photos in her album! Good on ya, girl! You're definitely taller than I am, but almost everyone is. BTW, where were those woodsy photos taken?

Hmmm, this must be a difference between men & women...I comment on the location of the pics, while the ladies comment on the kids. |

How true Obi, you are busy looking at the woods while us ladies are looking at the cute kiddies and the hubby.
You are indeed a tall one Light even taller than the hubby. You look very different to your photo you use as your avatar. Was that taken some years ago because your hair is definitely different, looks shorter and a different color. |

Thanks all. 'Preciate it.
No. Actually my avatar was taken about a year ago. The woodsy pics were taken about 2 years ago. But are the only ones I got downloaded on my PC. I hate to admit this but film sits around my house until I remember it's there!
The location? Oak Leaf Hiking trail in Miami Whitewater Park, Harrison, OH (It's just across the river...about 30mins away). Grew up in that town and visited that park 1000 times as a kid. There are over 10 hiking trails and this is one of my faves. If any of you get the chance to go I also recommend the Bad Lands Trail. (Right across the street from the Oak Leaf).
The avatar and my modeling pic are at the same shoot but the modeling pic. "Mr. Simon Kenton" seemed to get my hair brown, not intentionally, but it matches my hair color right now anyway! And Mr. Kenton has seen me in person, he can tell ya'.
Hopefully, I'll get more recent ones on my system as my hair is longer now. I'm growing it out now, keeping longer layers and what have you. Longer locks look better with belly dance costumes and as for modeling...they like long hair too. So there's that.
Anyway, thanks for the all the compliments! Y'all made my day!

And speaking of belly-dancing, remember the skit Chris Farley did on Saturday Night Live about a Chippendale tryout? Now THAT'S belly-dancing!!! |

Farley was good. I loved him in "Almost Heros" with Matthew Perry.
If you want to see the Chippendale skit, google "Chris Farley Chippendale" and you will find it online. |

Loved Chris Farley in the skit where he plays the motivational speaker, ".....I live in a van down by the river." I laugh so hard I cry each time I see it!

OMG! I remember that one! Me too, Blackie. I laughed my butt off for hours on it. I had a college friend who had a gathering at his house for labor day and he pranked this "political broadcast" by calling in as some man from so and so and would go off with some question that started out good and then turn it into the "Man in a van...."
We recorded it and by round 10 the politician was screaming and they had to go to break! So everytime I hear that skit I'm reminded of that and it makes it all the better. |
