We're familiar here in Mohicanland with artists such as David Wright and Robert Griffing, but Mark Anderson is someone I hadn't heard of until very recently. His painting entitled "Hunter's Brace" is on the cover of the most recent Muzzleloader AND of the September issue of Pennsylvania Game News -- not a bad way to get started (if indeed he's new and not just unknown to me).

Since it's a fine painting and the prints are not as expensive as those of the better-known artists, I considered buying one, but IT ONLY SHOWS PART OF THE RIFLE!!!! Too frustrating for words, so I decided to pass. Others may view it differently, of course, and in any case it's always nice to find a new artist who paints subjects such as this.

P.S. I just tried the link and it doesn't work, for reasons I can't figure out. Try the Muzzleloader home page, then "More About Muzzleloader," then "Current Cover."

There is a "/" instead of a "." in front of the "html".

Thank you! (And I call myself a proofreader ... how embarrassing.)
