Theresa, the book is worth a read...it first came out in the early 70's. It's heart wrenching..

Rich, the script does it justice..I have seen it..

Aidan Quinn will portray Henry Dawes, a Massachusetts lawmaker who introduced legislation in 1887.
He is sympathetic to the plight of Native Americans..

I suspect that August Schellenberg might have the role of Sitting Bull, but don't quote me on that one.:)

This sounds like it will be a great movie. We can all look forward to seeing it in 2008. Just a long time to wait though. Oh well, good things are worth waiting for I guess.

Now Wes Studi. What a treat we have in store. More names will come out soon as to who will be in this one. Can't wait. If only Michael...sigh...would be in the mix too. Fingers crossed.

I saw a commercial for it the night I watched the last "Rome" episode at my friends' house. It looks pretty darn good, but my friends aren't the type to watch that sort of movie.

So yet again I lament my lack of cable. I miss all the good stuff!

One day I'll have a real job and be able to afford it (or so I tell myself!).

You will have to use your powers of persuasion on your friend to watch this one or perhaps have them record it for you. I have not seen any commercials for it yet but am eagerly looking forward to Sunday night and the return of "The Sopranos" and their final season. Maybe they will show some commercials for it then.

Okay so who saw it besides me?

It was excellent and great acting by all involved from Adam to Wes, Eric and August even though Wes and Eric did not have too big of parts in the movie. Adam was brilliant as Charles Eastman. What a great actor he truly is and cute as hell. It was very moving and I should not forget to mention Eddie Spears as he was brilliant in this one also. I also happened to see "Flint Sky" from "Apocalypto". I believe he played "American Horse" although he did not have a big part either. It was worth the wait and I will be sure to watch it a few more times.
