Hi all,
Kay has been working hard on the raffles, which help us meet miscellaneous costs related to the Gathering. I wanted to show you all a couple of new items recently acquired for the raffles:
First, a generous donation from our French Trader, Clabert; two wampum bracelets! These absolutely beautiful bracelets were handmade by Clabert. Thanks, French Trader, for your donation!

Next, we have what looks like a book, but it's not! It's a safe to hide your trinkets in. Set it on your bookshelf and it looks like a leather-bound copy of LOTM, but your secrets are safe inside the hollow container. Sorry the picture isn't very good, but this is a very neat and useful item!

The great news is that you don't have to come to the Gathering to get a chance at these and other great LOTM-related prizes. Contact Kay via private message to purchase raffle tickets. If you win, she will ship your item to you after the Gathering. Of course, those who are attending the Gathering may purchase tickets then. Tickets are only $1 each, so what are you waiting for?

WOW!!!! I have a small bracelet made by Clabert and my friend Cecelia won the Grand Raffle Prize (a sash and bracelet just like Hawkeye's in the movie) the year we were at Bear Den Campground. To say it is AWESOME is an understatement!!!! Looks like I need to budget more money for raffle tickets!!!! Very cool book safe and keychain too!!!!

I am so glad that you posted these pictures. I've been wanting to see them.The bracelets are beautiful!!!!! The booksafe is awesome!!! And who wouldn't want to see Hawkeye every time you take your keys out to lock the house or start your car.  They are all great items!!!
We have another raffle item from Rich. He has been so generous about sending items for the raffle. This is a Gathering Messenger Bag. Anyone who collects Gathering items will really like this. It has pictures of all of us from the 2004 Gathering on it. It is really nice!!!!!!!! THANKS RICH!!!
I also have a couple of tote bags that my stepdaughter (Cindy) embroidered "Great Mohican Gathering" and then "2006" in the middle. They are really nice. One will go to Ariel's Auction and one will go to the raffle. We also have a couple of LOTM audio books. These are cassette tapes. I'm not for sure if anybody still has a cassette player nowadays except for me.  Oh well, one of the audio tapes will be in the raffle and one in the auction. One of them is read by Lou Diamond Phillips. I could listen to him all day. 
Like Steph said, it's still not too late to buy some raffle tickets and get a chance for some of these goodies and help out at the same time. a BIG thanks to all who have donated to the auction and raffle and to the ones that are sending items!!! We couldn't do it without your help!!!
