Ok all of you who are sitting on the fence about the 2006 Gathering:

The Ramada Plaza Hotel in Asheville has reserved a block of rooms for us at a discounted rate. The deadline to reserve one of these rooms is May 8 (one month from today)! Any rooms not reserved by that point will be released back to the general public at the regular rate. Please make your reservations by then to ensure the best deal!

Also I would like to have a final count of Gatherers by May 8 as well. We will need to report final numbers to the Nolichucky rafting folks and Chimney Rock Park so they can prepare for us. If you are seriously planning on coming to the Gathering, but have not sent in your registration yet, please do so as soon as possible or email me at wncsteph@aol.com I need to hear from you quickly! Also if you are planning on coming to the Gathering but are unable to register by May 8, please let me know that as well so I can plan for that.

Thanks to all of you who have registered already! We have an excellent group of veteran gatherers and a few newbies as well, should be a great time!
