As you all know, this is one of our own...a beautiful young woman from my home state and a town just 40 minutes up the road. I simply cannot imagine what her family is going through. Her mother has been so vigilant and courageous through all of this. I pray that this mystery is solved soon. Any thoughts from any of you who care to comment on what could possibly have happened to her?

I'm sorry to say, I think she is a teen who, on the spur of the moment, made some really bad choices and paid for them with her life. I think she's in the ocean. It's one of those times you love someone dearly and want to strangle them too. My prayers are with her family.

It is hard to say what happened to her, but it sure looks like there was foul play. It would be wonderful to find her unharmed, but I don't think that is what is going to happen. I know that her family still holds out hope and I don't blame them. If it was my son, I would do the same thing. All we can do is to keep her family in our prayers!!!

I have to say I agree with Chris on this one. Sad as it is, I think this is a combination of poor choices, and being in wrong place at wrong time. Every year here on the coast of South Carolina we have one or two examples of otherwise lovely young women like this making bad choices while on vacation in a strange place, and sadly most of the time it ends in either serious injury, mental trauma or, worst case scenario, a fatality. I think this girl probably is in the ocean as well. I feel so bad for her family and will keep them in my prayers. I can't imagine not knowing what has happened to a loved one!
