Found this in my inbox this morning ... can't vouch for the quality of this production, but I thought it might be of interest to some. If anyone is so brave as to purchase it, let us know. Sounds like it could be good.
NEW FILM SCORE "The 1920 Classic Myth: Last of the Mohicans" on DVD. A new edition of this film is available now with an entirely new film music score. The film itself has been remastered from a french nitrate master copy, by George Eastman House. The Slingshot and Miramax releases added a rather poor film score, with flute and synthesizer. A new version exists now, however, with an entirely new film score by a Mohican Composer, "The 1920 Classic Myth: The Last of the Mohicans" (2003) in 5.1 surround sound, re-scored for full orchestra, and American Indian instruments. Now Available at the site below:
BLUE BUTTERFLY GROUP 1043 Grand Avenue, Suite 280 Saint Paul, Minnesota 55105 http://www.FilmComposer.us 6 5 1 . 7 7 8 - 9 6 1 1

Well, for a guy who is trying to sell something, his web site certainly makes it difficult to buy it. That guy needs to find a web master who is less interested in being "artsy" and more interested in marketing his product. I never did figure out how to buy the DVD. |

Well, Fitz... I'm glad I am not the only Non-Teckie one in the group! I couldn't get there either!
Help, Someone! How do we get into that dang-blasted site! |

Interesting site, but I fully agree! Boy is it confusing!
I think you may have to email him from the "purple phone" to place an order http://www.filmcomposer.us/snackbar.html
I found where they at least mention LOTM http://www.filmcomposer.us/popcorn.html

Well, I don't know what is going on and I really feel stupid, but I can't even get past that first screen! I click on the headings at the top and absolutely nothing happens!

I think you have to click on the orange cones located around the car. They are numbered 1,2,3,4

The fellow who has that site says:
oh yeah ... it's a different kind of site! B
To find the DVD (and other merchandise): A. enter the "snack Bar (cone #1); B. click on the cash register.
Good luck! |
