Has anyone read the book? I started reading... but it is really boring. It has nothing to do with the film. Moreover, Magua departs with Cora, not Alice and a rogue Huron kills Cora. Uncas begins to attack the Huron who killed Cora, but Magua stabs Uncas in the back.Cora and Uncas receive proper burials the next morning amid ritual chants performed by the Delawares... Definitely I prefer the film...

I read the book. I thought the book was very good but I definitely prefer the movie as well. Both made me cry though, lol.

I apologize in advance to anyone who holds the book near and dear ... but one of the things I find most remarkable about the movie is that it's so good when the book it's based upon is nearly unreadable.
