Hey, first of all, I wanna thank you guys for all your support about my gum surgery. Well, now, my mouth is completely healed and looking a lot better! Plus, I'm finally getting my stupid braces off Tuesday!! I'm very excited to see my straight, straight, teeth! lol.

| Excellent advice about the retainers! At fourteen, I didn't think I should have to wear mine after suffering through so many years of braces and other procedures ... at twenty-four, I had to have braces again! Ugh ... |

my son has braces coming off this spring.
and my two daughters are getting them on very shortly, oy. Can you imagine having three in braces?
I think I'll have to stop eating to pay for em. |

Good for you on getting your braces off! How well I remember that day, after more than eight years of orthodontic Hades!!!
FOLLOW THE ADVICE that's already been given, my friend! Wear your retainers. Love them. Make them part of your life. Follow every instruction bestowed upon you about their wearing...
or else you'll end up like ME and have your teeth move when you're 32 and end up having to have a whole NEW set of retainers made for you! And THIS time, it'll be out of YOUR pocket and not your parents!!! 
Imagine my horror   when I saw the first bills! (Our enlightened dental plan would have covered braces, believe it or not, but not a simple regimen of retainers...)
