It was very good last year and it is a wonderful place for an event. My company of Rangers is participating in a timeline event at Fort Brewerton that weekend so I will not be able to attend.

I was in Montreal on business so I drove down to see the Rev War Encampment. I was glad I did. I got lots of video for my son's 4th grade social studies class.

was at a preliminary planning meeting for a 3 week trek/commemoration of the 250'th of the crown point military road to happen in '07 or '08, so i didnt get there until saturday night... spirits seemed good, much singing of songs like the old dun cow and the moose song, and the weather was fantastic... sundays morning tactical was canceled, because the real low areas were either slimy or flooded, but the spectator battle went quite well, regular, art'y,ranger and native turnout was generaly good, although i was the only one of our group that fielded... and the public got a good show... a far cry from the cancelation roumers that were going around...
