Have you guys and gals read the original unedited script available on the website? I read it for the first time today and was so sad to read about all the extra scenes and lines of dialolgue that was erased from the final cut of the film! The Uncas/Alice waterfall scene!!! And some other heroics by the man Uncas himself! Not to mention the fact that the beginning of the film is somewhat different to what was originally scripted.
Dont get me wrong, I love the film as is, and can watch it thousands of times more, but if only a decent DVD would be released containing those scenes!

Well, actually, the script found on this site - here - is a revision [one of many] not the "original". March 1991, if my memory serves correctly. The "original," I believe, dates back to the previous fall, or earlier.
