Here are a few photos of me,my father, and my brother on the 4th of July infront of and inside our Alamo house!

Here is the Dillonmo in all it's glory.

This is my father Allen,me,and my brother Joshua. Now,Joshua won't be in many of the photos I'm showing you, because he doesn't like photos. :roll:13 year olds.

Next photo is on the other side of my house with me,my father, and my brother.Notice the three windows on the side? Because of the look of our house,we have earned the name of "Taco Bell" "The Alamo" and "Church."I wonder if my house is the closest thing to looking like the Alamo here in Florida.

The next few shots is of me and my father,Allen, defending the entrance of the Dillonmo. I look at this photo now laughing at how big the coonskin cap is on my head. Also, notice the replica rifle? It's actually a replica of a cavalry Civil War musket.

And here I am swinging my rifle!

And here I am at my computer, where I discuss the Alamo with yall and build my messageboard.Notice the Alamo books in the shelves there? 8)

And here I am at the computer holding up my coonskin cap.Notice the photo of the Alamo on top of the desk? That is a very nice photo of me and my father infront of it.He added a brown tint to the photo and had it framed for me to give to me as a gift for last Christmas. Also, notice the desktop? :)

And another shot of me at the computer.

And finally, here I am drawing another Alamo piece. It is of David Crockett, but I'll leave yall there until I can post it.I'm still working on the drawing. Also, that red book under my drawing paper and such is Alan Huffines "Blood of Noble Men: The Siege and Battle of the Alamo".I use Gary Zaboly's amazing drawings and research as reference sometimes when needed.

Hope you enjoyed them.

~Wade

Wade,
I always enjoy seeing pictures. Those were great, except for that picture of the poor raccoon.
Your family would probably enjoy going to a Gathering. It's two years from now, so think about it. Okay?

Great pics Dillon. You look like a really nice kid. And what a great Dad to join you in the Crockett/Bowie theme of the pics!
Looks like a nice family there Dillon. You SHOULD consider going to the next gathering. You'd love it.

Katie, if coon skin caps disturb you, then I guess I won't elaborate on the demise of a certain ground squirrel trying to make a nest in my downspout a half hour ago. Didn't try to make a cap outta him though! What would I do? Paint a face on my thumb and plunk the chipmunk skin cap on the end of it?

Well, that would be an 18th/19th-century finger puppet I guess!

Young-un! You are so cute!! You are a very nice teen. Your Dad must be very proud of you. The house is so cool!

Do that, and you'll have to sing the Alvin and the Chipmunks songs...(scary thought, that!)

Wade:

I love seeing those photos of your house! Everyone will remember that Alamo (or dillonmo)!

You do realize that someday, your house is going to end up in one of those "roadside attractions" books...go see the shoe-house, go see the building that looks like an orange, go see the Alamo-house!

OK, the next Gathering is in 2 years. Put it in your calendar, NOW!
Be there!

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I really like my house as well.

I doubt I'll make a gathering anytime soon as I'm taking a trip up to Pennsylvania on August 12th and our budgets tight right now. But I appreciate yalls offer.
