Not being a real movie buff, - I'd have to say the series "Victory At Sea". I have the set, and have no idea how many times I've watched it, - but a lot, as in many, many times. Also Das Boot, - like realism, not fluff. |

**sigh** so many movies so little time....
Let me start off with my favorite movies of all time.
1. Last Of The Mohicans. (Love the men in this movie, DDL and Eric Schweig definitely got it going on in this movie. Okay, let me put it this way, I've never seen such attractive/beautiful/gorgeous men like I've seen in this movie. Hey, Chingachgook in my opinion is one HOT guy also. Besides I'm a sucker for romantic movies)
2. Braveheart. (I love every movie with Mel Gibson, and of course the romantic thing again gets me).
3. Lord Of The Rings. (Trilogy) (Handsome men such as Viggo Mortesan and Orlando Bloom, make this movie even more enjoyable to watch. I loved the creativity, it is one of the best movies ever made.
4. Tombstone. (Loved It!! All I have to say is Val Kilmer and Kurt Russell, hot-hot-hot-Ouch!! Loved the machismo thing they got going on).
5. Gladiator. (Russell Crowe, awesome actor and of course as sexy as can be. He looks like a total romantic in real life).
7. Pirates Of The Caribbean. (Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, total hotties. This movie made me laugh more than I expected).
8. The Alamo. (Ditto to all of the above. I became a big Billy Bob Thorton fan once I watched this movie. Also, lots of lookers in this movie. Nice!!
and the list can go on and on, The Missing, King Arthur, Hidalgo, Man in the Iron Mask, Men Of Honor, Harry Potter (all 3 parts), Dances with Wolves, Titanic, Master & Commander, Young Guns, Finding Nemo, Shrek (both parts), Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down, The Thin Red Line, Gangs Of New York, Tears Of The Sun, X-MEN (all parts), Lilo & Stitch, and etc. If I continue, I'll take up a couple of pages from this thread. I think I'll stop now. lol.... |

My favourite films? Easy for the top 5 but the rest change on a weekly basis!
1. Last of the Mohicans 2. Singin' In The Rain 3. Roman Holiday 4. The Horse Whisperer 5. While You Were Sleeping
Other favourites include: anything with Robert Redford, anything with Steven Seagal, Dances With Wolves, Hidalgo, The Sound of Music...
I recently saw Ladies in Lavendar and fell in love with the music, not since LOTM have I had to go and buy a soundtrack the very next day! |

Silent Thunder, Since you became a Billy Bob Thornton fan after watching Alamo, did you happen to recognize him in Tombstone? He looks TOTALLY different in Tombstone than in anything else I've ever seen. "Sumpin' on yer mind?" Stephanie |

Glory is also one of my top favorites! I saw this movie again recently, I forgot how wonderful the movie was. I cried terribly at the end though. Very sad, but very awesome. I love the part when Matthew Broderick goes and yells at that guy to get shoes for his soldiers! :) |

OMG, Stephanie are you serious?? I knew it!! Are you referring to the obnoxious guy that gets smacked around in the saloon by Wyatt? (Kurt Russell) I knew that guy's voice sounded so familiar, and looked like him except that he was heavier in Tombstone. I glanced at the list of actors when I watched it on Direct TV, but Billy's name was not on it. Thanks a bunch for the info. Until today, I swore that Billy Bob had a twin somewhere out there. |

Cool!! He's quite the character in this movie. It's disappointing to see that Direct TV didn't put his name among the list of actors in Tombstone. |
