This is truly a tough choice, since I like all of the above. I chose the "Alien" series, primarily because there is a sequel in the works for release this August. It incorporates both the "Alien" and "Predator" creatures and is called, appropriately enough, "AVP" (Alien versus Predator).

Mmmmmmm... tough choice, indeed.
I went with Indiana Jones. I really do love those movies. Yes, OK... So I admit it. Harrison Ford does have a lot to do with it! But the stories are great too. Good fun!
Second choice: Alien (which really rather surprises me, as I generally do not like the scary genre.)
Third choice: Back to the Future
Fourth choice: Star Wars |

Definitely Alien, the second movie was even better than the first one. It was non-stop action from start to finish. |

I went with Back to the Future; though I love LOTR, Indiana Jones and most of the Star Trek movies. Highlander...I'm a huge HL fan (movie and series), but the first one was the best, HL2 sucked, 3 and 4 were okay.

I chose the "Man With No Name" trilogy. "Fistful of Dollars", "For a Few Dollars More", and "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" are all solid films. Of the three I definitely prefer the second two films more. Lee Van Cleef is a strong addition to Clint Eastwood's talent. Throw in Eli Wallach in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" and you've got the greatest western ever made. |

In addition to my post voting for the "Alien" series, I would like to note that there is a teaser trailer for the new "Alien Versus Predator" movie. It can be found at the offical website:

I voted for Lord of the Rings - have LOVED those books since I was young (not YESTERDAY! ) and I thought the three movies were ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
There was 'no contest' for FIRST place in the Poll. However, my SECOND choice wasn't there - 'Stargate SG-1'. I JUST LOVE 'Stargate'!!! I LOVED the movie - I know there hasn't been a 'trilogy' of Stargate movies but... there HAS been a follow-up TV series, which is as good as having 'follow up' movies...????
Being a real archeology fan, I LOVE the references to that side of the story! Hook it up with my other interest, Cosmology/Quantum theory and - it just all comes together for me!! (Of course, Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Shanks help! )
And while I know that another movie is on the cards, I'm just hanging here, waiting for Season 8 - ROLL ON JULY 23RD!!! |

Ohhhhh... I didn't know about this! (I so seldom have time to follow things up the way I'd like to! And... I haven't been over to the Stargate site as I DON'T WANT TO KNOW what happens this season!! I'd rather wait and SEE what develops!)
But I followed your 'link' - sounds interesting! I'll definitely try it... I find 'spin-off's' seldom work for me - I just COULDN'T get into 'Star Trek: Enterprise'. BUT I always 'give them a go'. And I'll do the same for 'Stargate: Atlantis'...
Thanks! |
