I figure we need some frivolity here. Which of the following presidential candidates for 2004 could appear on national television dressed only in a Speedo and cause the fewest number of viewers to need therapy for the rest of their lives?

That was a difficult question to answer Christina, because NO guy can wear a speedo without causing alot of mental trauma!!! After you see a guy in a speedo, the image haunts you for the rest of your life, especially if his belly is hanging over it. 
But, since you didn't have "None of the above" listed, I had to go with John Edwards as being the one not to make me go into therapy!!!
I want to know who the smartie was that voted for Al Sharpton!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!

I agree Kay, I couldn't do the speedo imagery - BUT - change the word Speedo to Loincloth and it does make it a little easier to take - regardless though...I voted for Johno too.

Hahaha! Frankly, the image of any of them in a Speedo is frightening! This all reminds me of my early years as a YMCA Physical Director, and when confronted with the pompous better-than-thou crowd who frequented our Health Club and loved to intimidate 'the help', I just conjured up the image of them in the buff as they showered or lounged in the steam room and sauna. Back in those days before my beautiful body went bad on me, the comparison was quite encouraging to me! ('Wallowing whales'comes to mind.........) (snicker, snicker, snort!)

I would vote for President Bush simply because I KNOW he works out and stays in pretty good shape. (Thanks, Christina...now everytime I see one of these men I will visualize them in a wiennie bikini ...could make for a fun(ny) election year)

I never imagined I would stop in to check the poll this morning and find AL SHARPTON IN THE LEAD!!!

But seriously, that's funny.
I hate Speedos. No man, except a swimmer in competition, looks good in them. A few years ago I was dating a guy from Denmark who was pretty cute and seemed to have a decent body -- but then he showed me some family pictures and I discovered he wore Speedos at the beach. The relationship, how shall we say it -- cooled off after that. I couldn't get the image of this otherwise decent looking guy in one of those things out of my head and it squelched all possible attraction. That's how powerful Speedo-aversion is!
A woman I used to work for called the Speedo-style suits "grape smugglers."
