After reading the old archives, I remembered a question I wanted to ask. Some people had mentioned about one of the interviews (I'm assuming with ES) where he talks about the canoe scene with Steve Waddington and that it was funny to hear what he had to say about the 2 of them doing that scene. Yet, when I read the ES interview, there's no mention of anything to do with the canoe scene. Can someone please tell me where to read it or tell me what it was all about and what was said exactly? Thanks

You didn't give all that much to go on, but I don't think that's from an Eric Schweig interview. My best guess would be that you are referring to a narrative from Eric Hurley - Soldier #2 in the film. I think what you are looking for is around the third page, or so ... try this - lots of good reading & tidbits, anyway! - The World of Soldier #2. |

Thanks Rich, Yes.. Now that I read that interview with Eric Hurley in total, I see where he was referring to. The interview was really a great read, however, there were parts of it where after a word, there was "..." after and it seemed to skip. It was at times confusing. It was just like it was in the ES interview and the MP interview. It skipped when you were in the middle of reading a sentence. Almost like it was purposefully edited..but I would have rather read the entire thing as it had transpired. |
