I have very mixed feelings about Bush and the administration these days. It isn't yes or no for me.

Overall, I would have to give the President a 'thumbs up' vote for his foreign policy. He may have appeared to be too soft on the Saudi Kingdom, but I suppose he has his reasons. I do like the idea of planting a represenative form of government, right in the back yard of all of those quasi-religous monarchies and dictatorships. Freedom has a way of spreading, once it breaks through the surface, look at the former Soviet Union and its old client states which at one time comprised the 'Iron Curtain'.

I kind of agree with Bill, a little bit of both. Perhaps a more detailed poll would be in order such as:

Strongly Approve
Moderately Approve
Half and Half
Moderately Disapprove
Strongly Disapprove

I too am in support of the policies in Iraq and Afghanistan, but think the admin. is dropping the ball on the Saudis and the Mexican border, so I would give a "Moderately approve thumbs up."
