I'm looking for someone who is willing to show me around Bushy Run Battlefield. I'm taking a group of folks (who are normally Civil War buffs) to Fort Necessity next year and they want me to include Bushy Run also.

Want to show others that there is exciting history outside of Gettysburg.

I live just east of Bushy Run, about 20 min. drive. Just recently attended the annual re-enactment. Perhaps I can be of some help?

I have been a Volunteer Tour Guide at Bushy Run over 10 years. I have since retired from the tours but would be glad to escort you. Be aware that the Museum is closed (except Sat and Sun) from the end of Oct untill first of April. With notice, I believe the Museum could open for a small group but some displays may be in renovations. The Park is open to outside tours Wednesday through Sunday year around and Volunteer guides might be
available. Best to have reservations at the park or email me and I can set up something. jiwilson78@msn.com

Nephew, I am always pleased and honored to sit with you, at your council fire, with your English Family and my Shawnee Brother. I do look forward to seeing you and meeting your new friend from school, at Munro House, this week. It has been too long since we have sat together, till then my Nephew.
