On our recent vacation to Oregon & Washington, I had a lot of time to think deep thoughts (1931.2 miles worth) & I came up with an epiphany:

What is the opposite of bright?

What do ya'll think it is? I'll let you know my answer in a few days ... let's hear what everyone else thinks. (Yes, folks, this is definitely an "Obi-ism.")

Umm. . .is it "Obi"? Just kidding!

Really, though, are you looking for the opposite of bright like a light or bright like smart? I'm going to have to think about this.

I would agree with BFB that my answer would be dim. I think it works for both bright as in light and bright as in smart.

Or we could go for the really simplistic and say the opposite of "bright" is ... "not bright."

That's what came into my mind first. I don't really know what that says about my mind, but it's probably not good...

Sorry, Obi, there is no way I can do that.

But I agree with "dim" as the answer that fits more than one meaning of bright.

I'm in the same boat with Irish on this. That's what I thought too. Please let us know if we're getting warm, Obi. Pretty please?

MG, check my original post for the total mileage.

Thanks to all of you sweethearts who thought it was funny! As for the rest of you, phfffffffft! Where's the rasberry/tongue-out smilie? BTW, when I mentioned this to my wife, all I got was "the look." AKA "the blue eyed laser beam glare of death."

Finally saw this, Obi! ROFL!!!!

And it's refreshing to see that someone out there has a thought process just as gloriously warped as mine!

Love it...
