On our recent vacation to Oregon & Washington, I had a lot of time to think deep thoughts (1931.2 miles worth) & I came up with an epiphany:
What is the opposite of bright?
What do ya'll think it is? I'll let you know my answer in a few days ... let's hear what everyone else thinks. (Yes, folks, this is definitely an "Obi-ism.")

Umm. . .is it "Obi"? Just kidding!
Really, though, are you looking for the opposite of bright like a light or bright like smart? I'm going to have to think about this. |

Sorry...I'm giving out NO hints...post an answer for each if you wish...
To get it right, all you have to do is think like me!!! Ain't that depressing? |

I would agree with BFB that my answer would be dim. I think it works for both bright as in light and bright as in smart. |

Or we could go for the really simplistic and say the opposite of "bright" is ... "not bright."
That's what came into my mind first. I don't really know what that says about my mind, but it's probably not good...

Sorry, Obi, there is no way I can do that.
But I agree with "dim" as the answer that fits more than one meaning of bright. |

And it's refreshing to see that someone out there has a thought process just as gloriously warped as mine!
Love it... |
