I agree Theresa, - not very well thought out. For one, what he said was what most folks think anyway. The second is I think the fact that he said it on Fox was something NPR couldn't handle. He might well have said that om MSNBC - and have no problems, but on Fox that was too much. He won't be out of work any longer than he wants to be, ... it's NPR's loss, and is going to be another networks gain.

Fox already has signed Juan to a good contract. Thanks to NPR for a real career boost! They don't come much nicer than Juan Williams, nor more respected, at least by people who matter.

Life's journey is not to
arrive at the grave safely
in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways,
totally worn out, shouting
'...holy sh*t ...what a ride!'

I wonder if Mr. Williams has had an awakening from his exposure to Left-Wing 'freedom of speech'. Remember that a Neo-Conservative used to be a Liberal, until he was mugged

This incident not only reinforces my belief that there is a God, but that he has a sense of humor as well...

I like Juan ... his opinions on the round-table discussions on the latter segment of the 6PM Fox newscast have often made me recoil in horror, but he's honest and sincere --- and reasonable. He has, on occasion, surprised me, favorably, with his take on things. Generally, it's not necessarily the opinions that make me "like" someone, but more often than not, the delivery and apparent agenda behind those opinions that warm someone to my heart. That goes for everything ... political, romantic, friendships, you name it ... Go Juan! I'm in love!

I think that Juan Williams will enjoy the change.

I agree with his take on the recent mid-term elections. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2010/11/03/juan-williams-obama-midterms-house-senate-republicans-democrats-clinton/

We become what we think about.
