Very strange; very PC ... so much for "post-racial" ...
When President George Bush was accused of "acting slowly" in response to the natural disaster known as Katrina, it was said it was racism.
Now, in response to a man made disaster, the BP oil leak, we hear a very weird term bandied about - one coined by some loony "activist" - environmental racism.
I don't know ... correct me if I'm wrong ... but isn't the city of New Orleans - the whole Gulf Coast, in fact ... populated by white folks, too?

Yes, but only a minor detail Rich, - white folks don't have REAL problems, only around to foot the bill. - There's a "talk show" host in Boston, a "leftie" like you wouldn't believe, - that freely admits he sees "everything" from a racial point of view, doesn't make any difference what it is. - Of course there are those who yell "racism" every chance they get, part of the left's template, - nothing more than a political ploy. When things aren't going their way, - bingo, ... out comes racism. |

And, until we truly - from the inside - stop seeing each other in colors, we will never be "post" racial. The more this segment of society continues to cry racism at every turn, the harder it is for the rest of us to to stop seeing black and white. For them, it seems impossible. That appears to be ALL they see. |
