Things like this just break my heart. Rules can be bent, and if any case deserves that... it's this one.
Every one of those Homeowner's Association board members should read the paragraph in that article that tells what the Col. did to earn that Medal of Honor. It literally brought tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat.
They (the association board members) should all be put before a firing squad. |

| It is unbelievable what's happened to this country. Veterans et al in that vein, used to hold a place of honor, and were admired. In some places that still does happen ,- but all too often folks like these "little snots" get on some board, and impressed by themselves, show how totally shallow they truly are. |

THE major reason I will NEVER live in a development that has a Homeowners' Association or any other 'governing' Board like that. They tend to attract the ego-maniacs, 'better-than-thou-types' and power hungry Napoleons. Township Supervisors are bad enough.
Glad to see those idiots came to their senses.....needn't have come this far.

| My guess is the bad press, - plus being buried by about about 10 billion letters etc. drove them to raising their own flag, - a white one. Nothing's really changed, - they're still a bunch of self-centered little snots. |
