Let's "share" it with the Congress, ... . Congressman John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same healthcare plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt). Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go on his Website and sign his petition (very simple - just first, last and email). I have immediately done just that at: http://fleming.house.gov/ . Please urge as many people as you can to do the same! If Congress forces this on the American people, the Congressmen should have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families.

I just heard that Sen. Christopher Dodd (Democrat and 'Obamacare' cheerleader) has just been diagnosed with early stage Prostate Cancer. I think that he of all people should be the first to give-up his 'Cadillac' health insurance, and be subjected to the same public 'option' that the Democrats want for the rest of us cattle (or more correctly, 'chattle', since we are all thought of as slaves on the Democrat plantation)
...And if there is a God, then the beauracrats administering the public 'option' will determine that the good senator is far too old, and has too few years remaining, to warrant the expense of treatment

My father just had triple bypass yesterday. He is doing much better than many do, less than 24 hours after surgery. He was able to hold a conversation with me and my siblings and we all rejoiced that, if this had to happen, it happened BEFORE any health care reform was passed!
If you happen to think of it, please send prayers up for his continued recovery. Thanks. |

Add my prayers too winglo, and I will also pray that no healthcare 'reform' is passed while your dad needs treatment. That way he can still continue to recieve the first-class care he needs and deserves.

Winglo, I hope your Dad is doing well. It's amazing what good medical care can accomplish these days. Thoughts and prayers going your way from Tennessee! |

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. My dad came home on Tuesday (08/04) and continues to do well, although he is tired, as would be expected. Prayer sure does work, doesn't it? (And so does good health insurance!) |
