Wingdale is having a bad week.A mother of three was murdered on Tuesday by her crazy husband.He also shot his 12 year old who is stable.Our music director in church had a car accident.Her sister who was with her was killed.We also need prayers for a family friend who had a car accident and is now in a coma.She is only 27 years old with a husband and a young boy.A fellow teacher in church had an accident with her little baby in the van.So far,so good.I hope some good will kick in soon.

Secureman, I will certainly keep these in my prayers. So sad. It's hard to imagine this but through all tragedy there is something good. We may not know it yet.

| Here in little ole Marion, center of Mohicanland [really is, geographically!] there has been a rash of murders, rapes, suicides, murder/suicides, accidents ... what the heck is going on? |

| The name of the murdered woman was Juanita Allen.The name of her daughter is Cervon who was shot in the jaw.Rich,do you remember Lionel Bowser from work? He worked on ward 93 with the druggies.The lady who was murdered was his daughter.Other names would be:Jamie,Bob,and Cyrus Heckathorn.Also,the O'Brien family and the Groenwegan family. |

What's going on up there, Jimbo? Wingdale doesn't have enough people to sustain such losses. The name "Juanita Allen" sounds familiar, for some reason. Yes, I remember Bowser ... Now, about the "O'Brien" family you mention ... not Leroy, I hope. Aren't they still in California?
Anyway, here in Marion, a couple of the most "prominent" citizens have committed suicide since the summer ... there was a rape of a 6-month old baby girl [yes, you read that correctly] last week; rape/murder of a 13 year old, and just the other day, a man shot his wife, multiple times, then inflicted multiple wounds on himself [how does one do that?] ... he died, too. What a mess.

| Actually Wingdale is building up with new developments sprouting all over.We have Wingdale rush hour on Route 22 everyday between 4:45pm-6:30pm.I can't even get across the road to get milk with all the traffic! The O'Brien family is fine.It was another O'Brien clan.Matter of fact,we are going this Sunday to the baptism of his new son in Maybrook,NY.He has been back from California for sometime now.Sounds like Marion has us beat by a long shot.What the heck is going on? A six month old girl? What kind of animal would do that? Anyway,you and Elaine and your whole wonderful family have a very happy Thanksgiving.Your little Sophia remains in our prayers.Take Care. |
