Thank you very much for the welcome back, Rich! You, too, Caitlin! I'm very happy to be here, sartain! I'm having a blast reviewing past posts ( a good habit I picked up from Jo), reliving special times, reacquainting myself with familiar names and dear faces, and rediscovering MohicanLand (many thanks for leaving familiar landmarks!). Yes, the last two years were a tad dim, but seeing a Gathering t-shirt in my closet, a tiny hand held Y2K mirror in my drawer, or a Chimney Rock lunchbox out in the garage never failed to bring a smile to my face. I longed for a chat with Huggy, a deeeeeeep discussion with Laney, and a good ol' pat on the back from Diana S. I missed all y'all!
Can't wait to catch up with everyone!
Wooooohooooo!! All the humble stuff, Dana S.:)

Alright, Lainey, let's see...I think we were discussing Truth. Truth is like apples and oranges, or something like that...:))
Wow, Diana, I'll take one of everything ya got in that there drawer, maybe two Atta Girl's. Might ya have a can of whoopass? My cubard is bare:)) I sure will let you know how I'm doin. Your advice ad encouragement given two years ago has really come in handy.
Ilse...I have this really cool dohicky that 'rolls' cigarettes. Not as tastey as your hand rolled, however:))

Here's a big old wet one for you, Dana! You've been sorely missed. So few people appreciate Kindly Old Doc M the way you do...and goobering all over your computer screen is a good way to pick up where we left off! You'd better get your wrinkly old hind parts to PA if we have some sort of tribal gathering this year. I can tell that you'd be one of the select few to want to trek to Fort WalMart with me.
Kissy! Kissy!

Dana S: Yr Wecomed...After Finding an ole Work pal i respected so very much..RichFed i stuck around and made a Few Valueable 'e' pals and some threads of a non Mohican opinionated guy.BUT in my life and in the back of MY MIND i used to think, every once in a while on Our cruel Unafair treatment of the American Native in our Land of the Free...ya know THIS LAND IS MY AND THIS LAND IS YR LAND...............it was thiers FIRST! Like im still Pissed n hurt that we sold Manhattan for so cheap right out from under the indains.............They deserved Betteer and a momnument in this city...like a tall one in Central Park...where I think the Indian once roamed free and owned this city...........i feel for them and thats why im still here to Read learn and care even more."EVEN THOUGH I KNOW" I 'do not' belong here.,BUT..i like some of the folk and the great posts....i mean well....im just too too in yr face and i no mean nothing by it...................peace and welcome to yr HOME.im a guest....anth

Yes Dana, I'm here! After the Gathering that we attended together I had Jim teach me enough about the computer to be able to Email and get on this website. That's about all I know about the computer at this point, but that's the important stuff right?! Jayne is fine and super busy. She's taking classes at IUPUI and doesn't have lots of free time right now, but I told her you're back and I know she'd like to hear from you. Jim and I moved to Brown County in June (the day after I got back from the Gathering!), so come on down whenever you can!! It's starting to get really pretty. Karen

Hey, Anthony, thank you for telling me a bit about you. I don't mind 'in your face' people at all. It's the 'huggers' that make me nervous.
Karen, congrats on your new home!!!! I'd love to come visit this winter. I'm afraid this Fall I'm just going to enjoy the beautiful colors driving to and from work. Busy, busy, busy:)

*nods wisely*
Well, I started her treatment two years ago...desensitisation. When I met her for the first time at Gathering 3...one quick hug...arms length...no eye contact. After four days in a honeymoon cabin with an ever increasing population, she was ready for the 'sleeping bag for three' experience (for those who weren't there...don't ask!) The following year...when I invited myself to her house for a few days...I found that large quantities of alcohol had a sort of catalyst effect! Sooooooo....may I suggest that the combination of the sixth and final (?) gathering...plus copious amounts of ping should produce the necessary results??
If all else fails....we can always book an appointment with Doc Mary....but this should be considered as a last resort..since I fear the delectable Doc's approach would include one of her happy hurons, some all-purpose adhesive from the Doc Mary Mohican Horse Sanctuary and Glue Factory, and some leather strapping.....

Why Huggy! Doctor Mary is shocked! SHOCKED!! that you would think she would resort to horsies and Hurons to de-sensitize our beloved Dana. As you know, Doc M prefers a more *hands on* approach, which has worked amazingly well with select clients at the Mohicanland Clinic for the Terminally Weird. "Oh, the neck bone's connected to the shoulder bone *CRACK!!* the shoulder bone's connected to the backbone *CRACK!!* the backbone's connected to the hip bone *CRACK!!* " ...well, you get the idea. Now where oh where did I leave those pesky handcuffs??
Kissys!

Geewiz, Diana, you've got one heck of a memory there, don't ya?!!! Yepper, booze uaually does it for me. A shot or two of Cabo Wabo and I'm game for just about anything. I wonder how many more could have fit in that sleeping bag? Next time we'll have to see if we can squeeze in a couple more...
I was likin' the whole Huron/horsey thing, but if you're absolutely certain whacking is the best therapy,...you'll have to catch me first:)

I attended Mississenewa last year, Karen. It's an awesome event. I loved it. Unfortunately, work is going to keep me tied up at home this weekend.
Thanks for letting me wrangle an invitation out of you. I look forward to seeing you soon!
