well ...... i thought this would be a good Topic section for all Good/Bad news of the day/week/month...like the Other Topics that say 'though of the day' and so on....so im first:
The good News: I'm 'Still' here!
The Bad news: Im 'Staying' here.....'cuase i have yet to Hear rom RichFed's 'LAWYER' :):):) heheheheheeheheh..peace Brother Fed!

Other News: Good: The Boring Bon Jovi KickOff concert that they Had to Close Times Sq. down for is Over......to .too much noise from the hellicopteres flying all over NYC last night.and for what?? a Bon Jovi concert for the football games..........say what??
The Bad News: OH! Lord...... not Sept 11th coverage ALL OVER again & no Tv No radio and no bnothing and the security in the city will be tight! its 1984 all over again, the 'book' that is not the yr.. here in nyc?? Who wants to be reminded?? of this sad fiasco....not us Ny'rs and we are leaving this city to go to the cape.........its a no no......................Enough is Enough!!!!!.
LET US PRAY! but to celebrate in the streets .thats all they'll do Party......not GOOD!

This weekend sucked..the soccer game was cancelled and my kid got stung by a wasp..plus a few little other things that went wrong..The good news??? Umm.. was there any ??????

Hey, Anth - the GOOD news is, you're still alive & kicking! There is even BETTER news: you CAN bring that blood pressure down! I don't know if the doctor you're seeing now has you on medication for high blood pressure or not but if he doesn't, he should! And if you are not happy with this doctor or the results you're experiencing under his care, by all means, get a second opinion! Remember: YOU are your own best advocate! Listen to your inner voice & if it's telling you that this doctor or this particular treatment isn't working for you, LISTEN to what your inner voice is telling you & find another doctor! Diabetes & the associated side effects are nothing to play with, as you know.
Since my husband was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in June, he has managed to bring his blood sugar down from almost 400 to routine readings now as low as 119.  His high cholesterol is a thing of the past, the HDL & LDL levels are great & no problems with high blood pressure. Sticking to a healthy diet, taking his prescribed meds, routinely checking his blood sugar, and EXERCISING have all played a big part - AND he has a good doctor.
TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF and please let all of us know how you're doing!

I am very touched that you replied with such COMPASSION.yr a GOOD women Diane B.I do CONCEDE! .as for my Cholestral.it is 135 Perfect.has always BEEN 134-190 since a teen..................I am now, staring tom'w taking 'Midorol' for my B.P. hope it returns to my usual BP of 113-128 over 85 I hope??.i need to drop 37 lbs ONLY.................and I Now stopped Diary and Most???..Breads n Sugars.not all.I love Bread and ice cream .and i think my lil pie full of.well ya know.helps much and yes I I must get back to long distance swimming Im great @ that and return to city Jogging .SOON! I do have one of NY's best Docs..He's an old Hippie hehehehe....hear that RICH??.. Thanks again DI......Love you..............anth
