Bea,

A very late, but straight from the heart, I KNOW you must have had a good one!!! HAPPY Birthday....I'm recalling the horses for the refrain:

Happy Birthday to you!!! (I would like you to dance)
...Happy Birthday! (Take a cha-cha-cha chance....)

Oh, no, there're out of control!!! Stomping to and fro! Good thing we ARE late; heavens knows how they'd celebrate the real day!!! Getting prepared for next year! And here's to a good one now.

Sorry to be late.
Jo

Yes, ABBA!! ha, Anth, can you see a whole bunch of people shaking their heads?
Yes, I love ABBA. Bjoern Ulvaeus and Benny Anderson were wonderful songwriters and the girls had great voices. I own all their records
and remember most of their lyrics.Too bad they had to part ways.
Did you know that Agnetha Faeltskog has a bio out, AS I AM? Great reading.
When i was in Stockholm years ago I had the chance to meet them but declined. DUH....Instead I saw a different group called SECRET SERVICE..

Anth, it was Frida ( Anni-Frid Lyngstad) who had the first solo album out.I own the LP called Something's Going On. Phil Collins assisted her big time and I liked the title song. I don't think Bjorn and Benny co-produced it but they sure contributed at least one song.
Agnetha, the blonde one, first started a duet with a Swedish singer called Tomas Ledin. The song was called " Never again". She then went ahead to produce her own solo Lp with Mike Chapman and Chris Norman ( of Smokie fame) called Wrap Your Arms Around me. It wasn't as successful as Frida's but one song "The Heat Is On" climbed to the top of the charts in Europe..
The boys also went solo with Tim Rice to produce the musical CHESS. The tune "One Night in Bangkok' was very catchy.
Anth, have you ever seen them in concert??
