4 Cable shows; all surreal and all so important and in yr face in the 21St. Century i say.... HBO'S'Sex in The City'/'Six Feet Under'/'The Soprano's' & 'Oz' ALL My/Our Faves and Yr Thoughts on 'Em ...all??

and....another..........James taylor on ABC TV's The View..........
This man never AGES! He's like 58 and looks 37 and sings 22 and his new tunes are GREAT! I love him and Drews tunes are very JT... he evenlooks like JT so much.................
Micheasl J Fox was just on and i feel so bad for him w/ Parkinsons D he cant sit still for Barbara Walters............IT's NOT FAIR @ ALL.//He's SO So YOUNG................Im sad..:( for him...... Love that show. and you ?.......anth

Oh, I do love "Oz"! It's confusingly on and off Dutch TV, so it's quite a challenge to catch an episode, but I try to watch everyone they air anyway.

Truth be told I don't watch any of the shows Anth has mentioned.. Then again I don't watch much TV at all..I am basically into reality TV. I like shows like Trauma: Life in the ER, Maternity Ward, The Cold Case Files and Secrets of Forensic Science. Once in a while my son and I watch ENTERPRISE..the one with Scott Bakula. And yes, I like Star Trek.

OK Bea......... that'S Ok. But try to view The Soprano's and Sex and the City @ least once or twice Then report back..........The Dialogue and Charachters that are written for those 2 *Gems* is very On the Mark & SO TALKY AND INTELLECTUAL.... ALL WITH PERFORMANCES THAT ARE OSCAR WORTHY.I THINK THE ''BEST TV'' EVER IS THESE HBO AND SHOWTIME Originals
and Isle: Yes! 'Oz' is a Great Drama with intense storylines. The show is filmed 3 blocks away here in Chelsea @ ther Chelsea Piers and the Guard lives right across the street on this Block............I stop him all the time and talk his 'Oz' head off....................... :):):)anth!

Hey Bea Just go to HBO.com and SHO.com and click those show's. HBO has Sex & the city and Oz and The Soprano's and Showtime has Queer as Flok and Six feet Under...................read up om em there....But all i can say is the premise is 'Real People' in Real situations with Real emotions and all living in the REAL worldand all are Very Adult oriented.not for the under 21 crowd!! anth

Just kidding!Sex & the city was quite a hit here too; but yanked off of TV about a half year ago. I think a lot of HBO series are quite popular in Western Europe.

I don't get HBO so you're quite privileged..I can watch the shows we talked about on different cahnnels. Ilse, how did you like Sex In The City?
Also, let's continue this thread about likes and dislikes (?). Who is your favorite actress of all times?
Well, for me there are quite a few: the late Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn and in more recent days Meryl Streep and Jessica Lange.
Anth, you're lucky to know so many people and to be able to chat with them!!

Hey guys I'm kinda famous myself! Did a 4.5 second movie shot fighting and restraining Kiefer Sutherland in his first movie,"Trapped in Silence" filmed in 1984(?)They mostly got the back of my curly head.It took five takes and 8 hours just to make that crazy scene.Got 50 bucks for it! Man,did Marsha Mason wear tons of makeup!Lunch was good anyway.No autographs please!

Now,all you guys are talking shows and movies here and mentioned OZ.I never watched it but was curious when I first saw the OZ sign.Being born in Brooklyn,NY I was raised in Queens.Now the section I grew up in was Ozone Park and our symbol for that was,(you guessed it),"OZ".We had tatoos with OZ,graffiti all over the handball courts with OZ and gangs who identified themselves
as belonging to OZ.When I first saw the advertisment,I thought they were doing a history on the old "hood".Man,was I wrong.Oh well,long live OZ-The old neighborhood that is!

Hey racy ole Anth,I never got a tattoo back then of OZ.They were home made and very painful and I was a chicken,bak,bak... Pics of strong arms? Who you talking about? Tattoos on handball courts? You mean graffiti on handball courts.Your a New Yawker and should be hep to all this. Peace...OZ Mann.

I am..........spent some time in MY YOUTH @ my cousins all in Brooklyn and Queens......and i read Tatoos and arms and well i got a lil EXITED! sorry i misread the post BUT an OZ tattoo and a handballer on 'da court is right up my ALLEY!
