am i too too racy n crude n funny yet crustyw/ my 'New Yawk' Humour?? on here and Shall/Should i Tone it down or can i stay the way i realley am?? . I Respect all views.. sp please..let me know and i will abide. Peace-out ... Anth

One of the things I like about being part of this board is that it has given me the opportunity to meet such a great variety of people. Personally, I enjoy the exposure, discussion and even celebration of our differences and I would hate the thought of anyone feeling that they couldn't be true to themselves. As long as no-one sets out deliberately to offend or hurt someone else, remains civil and respectful, and stays within the guidelines of the board...I don't have a problem with them! 
Just my two pennies worth!

Ok, Anth ... I'm gonna "let 'er rip." Well, not really, but ...
I have given this some thought, hence my delayed response. I don't want to hurt your feelings, old Bud!
Tony, I have good memories of you, and you can ask Elaine [Go on, ask!!!], I keep telling her what a good guy you are.
It's this simple, and I've told you this before, we're not here - on this board - to flaunt our sexuality. Which is not to say that the subject isn't joked about here quite frequently, because it is, especially in the "old" days, or whenever Doc Mary decides to come out & play. It's just the "in-your-face" approach that takes me aback ... a little.
Tony, to me, you seem like someone in need of getting something out ... off your chest. If I'm correct, this is not the place ... privately would be much more suitable. The folks here ... and it's a growing group, though we've lost some in the process ... were brought together by the love of a film, or a novel, or the historical era, or all three and others, but not by their sexuality. You know what I'm saying?
We need to talk, Dahlink!
On the other hand, this particular forum, Birthdays, Congrats, & Personal Stuff!, was put in place to free up the conversation and allow folks to simply talk & just be friends - without the aura of 6 Degrees hanging over them. And, in this forum, I, and I believe most everyone else, wants each other to be themselves. That applies to you, my friend ...
Just stop drinking all the coffee ... or else, Securemann & I will be forced to do what we [used to] do best. Your only choice then will be: straight jacket or full-sheet restraint! It won't be pretty!  Restraint ... that's the key word. It's good in life ... it's good here.

My POV is basically Huggy's. As long as we don't hurt each other things are cool with me.. I like having Anth on board with us as he really participates in numerous topics..
This board is fun..I must admit I prefer it to the old one..

in the f.a.q. section of this great bb..it states that you can delete or edit yr post?? OK OK.. BUT UM..>>>>>>>> .....just click on the pencil or trash can symbol.......like where is it rich ??? i need my post uptop re-edited or deleted...drew says i was too protest.'tee ..i was so ...plse explain how to delete.......peace.................................. ant

Okie dokie ... First of all, you can ONLY delete your topic starting post if there are no replies ... once someone replies, you're done ... no delete.
You can edit any of your posts at any time. Just click on the  button. You must be logged in to see it!!! Same with the  . And they're both there, along with the other icons, right at the top of your post. |
