Ok ... for anyone following these latest "developments," here's some shots to go with the posts, albeit, some dated ones!
I'm certain I posted this on the old board quite awhile ago, but I couldn't locate it anywhere, so, an encore:

You're right old buddy! Sully and George are down your way somewhere.I think Rich Square,N.C. not too far from Rocky Mount.I still see Sid around-He lives right above me on Johnson Hill road in Wingdale.You know that Ernie passed away in 1991.Ernie was a great guy.Remember when [omitted] broke Ernie's jaw?You do remember [omitted]? HOW COULD ANYBODY FORGET [omitted] WHO YELLED AND SCREAMED FOR 8 STRAIGHT HOURS IN YOUR EAR? He made any marine drill sgt. sound like Carol Channing.And if you were mandated to work the next shift,you had to here him again for another 8! Sid is retired now.That's a great picture you put on here.I still look the same minus the fuzzy lip.

Rich,just wanted to give you the low down on the S.C.T.A. casualty list which accumulated through the years.Some guys you might know.You were fortunate to get out when you did.It just got worse.Here is the list of incidents: Me,of course.Don't feel bad about the nose incident.I had mine done twice(don't think I got any cocaine for my troubles,hmm...)Dennis Brunow ack operation during a scuffle-out for good.Harry Ford:Neck operation during a scuffle-out for good.B.K.Kothari:caught in secure ward riot of 1996.Ward was taken over by 6 punks who stomped B.K.damaging his leg and back.He needed a metal rod in his leg.The other male staff died a week later from trauma to his throat( he was almost choked to death during the ordeal) B.K. is out for good and the other fellow never had a chance.Jerry Senacal who worked night shift: He almost bought the farm when someone snuck up behind him during the night and choked him.He has damage to his trachea but managed to retire.As the years went on,we kept losing people and downsizing.So when you had an ALL AVAILABLE MALE STAFF CALL during this time,you were lucky if 3 people showed up.Not like the old days when you had about 10 guys show up.Anyway,when you think it gets bad down there in mohicanland,just think,you could be back up here doing this again.More stories to come....

Anthony: The individual you are inquiring about in the picture with Rich and I was Mr.Ernest Paskell.He passed away in 1991.He was a real gentleman and straight as an ARROW.It was a pleasure to work with him.God rest his soul.You can cool down now.

Well here's a big confession: when I saw the smurf avatar, I couldn't resist because for years Smurf was my nickname. For years I tried to get away from it, but then what do I do? Pick the avatar! It's not that I particularly like the smurfs, I don't think I've ever even watched a whole episode. At my first job someone said they thought I looked like a smurf, and from there on it just stuck! I was glad to start a different job 8 years later just so I could escape the nickname! Oh well!
