Tomorrow will be 11 months till the 2004 Great Mohican Gathering gets underway! In tribute, I shall post the first of a series of monthly Updates/Checklists on the progress of all things Gathering 2004!
I guess 'cause so much of the infrastructure was already in place - remnants of the defunct 2003 Gathering - or maybe 'cause we're really starting to get good at this, or sumppin' - this Gathering is remarkably well along. MUCH further along than any previous Gathering has ever been at this early stage.
Without further ado, let's see where we are right now, on the eve of 11 months till Opening Day!
The Numbers: 73 signed up to date! Jeez!!! There was a total of low-40s for 2003 at the point we canned it! That's NOT counting Russell & Pearl Means, nor Tim & Diane Cordell. I figure there are some suspect signees, and cancellations always seem to be a part of things, but still, a very solid group is lined up to be here. More will!

You do need to start thinking of Raffle Donations that you can offer!!! Please?
Basically, everything is more or less in place & going as planned - only way ahead of schedule! Waiting for the bottom to fall out! No, not really, but there will, most assuredly, be a dip here & there. To be expected!
It will be hard to maintain enthusiasm for such a long haul, as well. That too is to be expected.
But, come June ... it will reach it's fevered pitch! Funny. The Gathering itself is NEVER anti-climactic. It always meets all expectations!

Wow it has been a while since I was last on but it looks like things are really coming together. Sounds like fun and keep up the good work Rich!!!!!
