What would have been the realistic implications of Uncas and Alice somehow being together in 1757? I have the faint idea that it would have been very scandalous to the British, somewhat scandalous to the settlers. But what else? Would this mean she wasn't welcome in "polite society" anymore? Were there any laws in place that would have made things harder for them?
What about the tribes? There aren't any more Mohicans (other than Chingachgook, who is dissapointed but stands aside) to be scandalized in the film's universe, but what about the Mohawk or the Lenape? Would they have been more/less scandalized? How would they treat the union, Uncas and Alice after the fact?
