Posted - February 09 2014 : 11:09:13 PM Hello all, new to the forum but not to the movie. Been a favorite of mine for quite some time. I have been all over the internet(so i thought) looking for information about uncas and chingachook shirts and have not been able to find anything. I had given up until I found this website.
Can anyone tell me; What type of shirt they wore? What type of fabric? What is the style worn by Chingachook(meaning the diamond looking imprints on his dark blue shirt)? Where could I perhaps find a guide on how to make the shirts? or Is there a online store that sells them? Any help is welcome, thanks all. |

Posted - February 10 2014 : 08:32:10 AM yes, thanks for the help morgaine. I saw these shirts and they are close but not the same ones. Uncas wore what looks like a type of wrap shirt(the green/maroon ones). Thats the one that I am looking for. Chingachook probably wore a early version of the ribbon shirt without the ribbon, from what I can tell. wanderingbull.com is the closest website I've found with those type of shirts but I am desperately looking for the wrap shirt or a instruction/lengths and dimensions so i can make one myself.
Been trying to set myself apart from the people who always wear button down polos. It really disgusts me that everyone wears the same type of shirt all the time, at least where I'm from. Its some |
