Hello everyone!
I've been a lurker here for a while, but decided to embrace this forum completely! So here I am!

My name is Catherine, and I'm 22yrs. I've been a fan of this movie since I can remember. I grew up with Native Americans and spent much of my childhood at Powwow's, thus this culture has always had a place in my heart.

I'm a huge Uncas/Alice shipper. I've written a ton of fics for them, and have a few in process.

I'm super excited to get to know some of you and have some wonderful discussions with you all.

I have a few questions up front.
1: Is there any new Mohicans DVD's on the way?
2: Are they're any petitions out there to get ALL the deleted put on the next editions.
3: If there are no petitions out there, if I were to start one, would you sign it?

There was a petition at one time, somewhere else on the web, but I'm with Rich, I don't think there are any more scenes that will ever be added.

Years ago, we helped to stimulate a Director's Cut drive here on this site, but I am too tired for that today. I honestly believe, based on the blu-ray edition, we've seen about all we are ever going to. Maybe I'm wrong.

I am what you might say still a new kid on the block myself, and welcome.
As earlier posted, there has been much discussion on new releases and "Versions," of the film.

Welcome! You might want to check out the recent forum about the BluRay vs. Director's Cut editions of LOTM. There's some DVD info in there, and I believe a petition/letter to Michael Mann was mentioned.
