Posted - July 19 2006 : 1:31:38 PM Okay, Okay. I've been watching too much LOTM (never thought I'd say that) Anyway, to take a turn of fun, I couldn't help but laugh at my own imaginings of Alice's "intent" on catching Uncas. Call me a hater if you will, but I'm only having fun!
Uncas LOVERS I hope you like this! That girl was trying hard to snag him up because:
1. In the beginning she was bold enough to chase him when he loosed the horses. Her excuse, "We need them to get out," was merely a smoke screen for, "Touch me! Touch me!" (NOT that I blame her!)
2. The girl was a witch, literally, a witch. Did you notice how Uncas stared at her at the falls? She was having the worst hair day ever known to man and he was still eyeing her up! Poor Uncas! He was under her spell and he couldn't stop himself!
3. She crawled ALL OVER the burial grounds just to wiggle up next to him and she nearly gave away their cover just to get the guy to grab her. Pretty clever! I wouldn't have even thought of that!
Finally, 4. She just so happened to LEAN into the falls, coincidentally, right in front of him! Hmmmm....I think Alice needs to give a couple "Uncas Catching Classes" for those of us who desperately need them! |

Posted - August 29 2006 : 4:46:41 PM One other thing, I do have a home compy but it is an ancient old dinosaur that's a tempermental beast, and I live way out in the boonies where there is no such animal as DSL, so I suffer with a dial up that will kick you off after every single post, or refreshment or anything else you make. My blood pressure simply can't take it I'm afraid. |

Posted - August 29 2006 : 4:43:30 PM I post from work, and the hag erm... I mean the boss frowns on using my work compy for personal stuff. So I just keep 10 or 12 spreadsheets and browzers open but reduced to the tool bar so when she heaves her big posterior appendage out of her office chair, I just click open something else and look like I'm "terribly busy", lol. |

It doesn't seem to work like other bboards. My images are hosted at photobucket. Is there a way to post them from there to here? See y'all tomorrow. |

Posted - August 27 2006 : 10:47:50 PM TBug, too bad I didn't know you when I was younger, I could have used A LOT of NA hookup! To coin and change a normal phrase, "One woman's lack of interest in another's woman's plunder!" |

Posted - August 26 2006 : 1:38:18 PM My mother's father was Cherokee/Comanche, so I have lots of First Nation relatives. I've been around NA's all my life but I've never been attracted to any of them. My father was German, so his blond/blue mixed with my mom's black/brown makes me look more white than anything, but race has never been a factor for me when it comes to me being attracted to a man. Some men appeal to me, and others don't. Eric is the first and only NA that I feel drawn to. I've not seen him in anything but LOTM but, what an impact he made then as much as now. Love his hair long, though I've read that it's not long anymore. Maybe I'm just stuck in a time warp, but then again i'm happy in my little bubble. |

Posted - August 25 2006 : 10:36:10 PM Sadly TBug, I must admitt...I am dead gone on native men!!! They have me mooning over them 24/7/365!!! As far as race preferences...kinda' a touchy subject since a lot can be easily offended by it, but like Irishgirl, I don't see anything wrong with mingling, however I pretty much stick with mocha or caramel!
And thank you Irishgirl for reminding me of Wind In His Hair - swoon! To quote Alice, "I shant sleep to-night."
Oh, yeah...the whole hand thing...well they can be fascinating for {CENSOR, CENSOR, CENSOR}

Posted - August 24 2006 : 10:55:43 AM Well, I have a wonderful imagination and don't have any difficulty just closing my eyes and feeling those beautiful hands stroking my skin, lovingly....
Uhm... is this board rated G, R, NC17 or Mature? LOL
Really it's as simple as that. The whole package of Eric from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet and everything in between. He's magnetic... |

Posted - August 24 2006 : 10:21:44 AM Hey TBug you have to watch "Stolen Women, Captured Hearts" and you will fall in love with Michael Greyeyes too. That man is so handsome. He and Eric are equal in my affections. I love their hands too. What is it about their hands? |
TBug |
Posted - August 24 2006 : 10:15:16 AM I am also attracted to dark handsome men. Blonds just don't trip my trigger you know? Race isn't a factor I agree. I looked up pictures of the others that you mentioned, but don't find them near as attractive as Eric. There's just something... compelling, intriguing, dynamic, irristable, elusive... just something about him that pulls me right in. Have you noticed his hands? I knew he was an artist just by looking at those gorgeous hands. Oh what I'd give just to feel them on me.... |
Irishgirl |
Posted - August 23 2006 : 6:26:45 PM I find myself attracted to Native men yes. I love the dark looks and big dark eyes. Some women prefer blonde, blue-eyed men but that was never me. Always been a sucker for big brown eyes. I adore Eric and Michael Greyeyes. They are my two favorite NA men. Also like Rodney Grant (Wind In His Hair)in "Dances With Wolves" and Adam Beach. Just something about them. Having said that though, a persons race does not matter to me, I could still be attracted to them regardless of the color of their skin or where they came from. |
TBug |
Posted - August 23 2006 : 3:29:20 PM Are all of you attracted to Native men in general? I'm just curious, so please don't take offense. Uncas/Eric Schweig is the only one race wise that I have ever been attracted to. I just see a gorgeous man who if for any reason ever finds himself unattached and lacking in female company, here I am. |

Well LOTM you certainly have Alice all figured out and here we were all fooled by her thinking she was just a shy, naieve, little girl. That girl sure has got her wits about her alright where Uncas was concerned. Accidentally falling into his arms under the Falls and "pretending" to be scared just to have him hold her and rock her gently in his big studly arms. What a witch indeed. She is to be admired by all us Uncas lovers out here and envied. Just too bad we did not get to see the fruit of her labors. That meanie Mr Mann sure spoiled that for us now didn't he??
PSSHH! I wouldn't want to see the fruit of her labors! I'd want to stand in for her!! As far as wits, let me ask, how many of us women would not suddenly have them at just a glimpse of Uncas?
Oh, by the way Irish, the drooler is you, the eye popper is me!LOL |
