Posted - May 15 2006 : 09:49:04 AM 'the skulking way of war', can't remember author does a fair job of covering the evolution of european tactics as they changed from meet in the middle of a field,officers in front, present and fire to use cover and camoflage and aim at specific targets as learned from the natives and developed by the f&i war
