Whose battle tactics do you think were better and why?

Exactly, - the winner used the right tactics. They are constantly evolving, and what's "correct" today, will get a smile in the not very distant future. Robots are already making an apperarance, - and that's nothing more than the beginning. |

I would say both.Each had a time and place.By the Forbes Expedition of 1758,the Europeans were fighting like the natives anyway. |

'the skulking way of war', can't remember author does a fair job of covering the evolution of european tactics as they changed from meet in the middle of a field,officers in front, present and fire to use cover and camoflage and aim at specific targets as learned from the natives and developed by the f&i war

when fighting with natives in their land, in their forests europeans were using the wrong tactics for they were used to fighting face to face, in open fields, watching their enemies.
but in the end technology overweighted tactics |
