I just got my tv back from the repair shop and watched the dvd of LOTM last night yet again... (I'd only been able to watch it on my computer before). Anyways, I saw something I didn't see before (due to the darkness of the picture on the pc as opposed to the tv). In the surgery scene where Hawkeye turns and stares at Cora, he looks her up and down; and then she smiles; and he smiles back. (doesn't he have a gorgeous smile gals??) 
It must be an awesome movie to see on the bigscreen..
As I said, I hadn't caught that before. I was soooo excited to find something new (for me anyways) I just had to share. |

Hi Stephanie. Thanks; I checked out the Gathering thread a couple weeks ago and saw that the movie is shown at them.  Believe you me, I nearly rang and booked a ticket right then and there!!  I don't think I could swing it though.  I'd have to take extra time (and money) to visit all the rellies and don't think I can do that again this year. I just went back to the States last May. I'm savin' up though for next year; I'll make it my 'big vacation'!! Then we'll do some serious Hawkeye Hollerin' (and Uncas droolin')!  For this year's Gathering, can you please "holler" for me?  |

Paazau,
Guess what! You CAN see LOTM on the big screen! At every Mohican Gathering we rent a theater and watch the film on the big screen and my my it is a sight to behold. Can you join us in June? It would be great to have someone hollering over Hawkeye. It seems that Magua gets most of the catcalls with our crowd!
The Gathering is probably the only place you'll see LOTM on the big screen, so join us if you can!

Oh I love, love that scene!!Wish I was in Cora`s shoes there  . There`s just something about Hawkeyes smile. Everytime I watch that scene it puts a smile on my face too.  Absolutely wonderful scene and amazing acting.. |

Nathaniel Poe (Daniel Day-Lewis) is the best thing since sliced bread! He is so hot, but then again, he is older than me by more than thrity years so I suppose that it is alright to fantasize about him. (No, I'm not that young. I'm 16...) He really has a sexy smile and hes every woman's dream come true. |

Oh yeah. We ladies have drooled over that scene in many discussions. We call it "The Look"... A wonderful portent of things to come!

Yes that is sweet scene between the two of them and the chemistry is great. Cora looks shyly at him and gives him that smile. You can see where things are heading from this scene. DDL does have a lovely smile. |
