I just started an Uncas and Alice petition for Micheal Mann if anyone who would like Last of the Mohicans to be rereleased with Uncas and Alice scenes please sign my petition

If the petition is still going, consider this one huge vote in favour of the Uncas/Alice extended love scene (as filmed and described by Eric and others) being included as an extra in a new improved DVD version of LOTM. They may be dead, Obadiah, but they're certainly not forgotten. Cora/Hawkeye - meh. Uncas/Alice - rivetting.

WF, It think the scene is better left to the imagination. People go on and on about Alice and Uncas because their relationship wasn't resolved one way or the other. If there was more of them in the movie they wouldn't be any more a mystery, or a topic of conversation, than Hawkeye and Cora are.
