Posted - July 17 2004 : 06:14:31 AM Hi! I am very curious about this movie I don't understand some parts like why did Hawkeye didn't leave the british. was it just for love? and in connection to my studies , we are asked to write a paper about: How enilghtenmentilluminates a person and impersonates him. I think that the enlightened person here in the story is cora because she realized how different and maybe how "wrong" were some british policies like the part on sedating hawkeye. How about you? |

Posted - July 17 2004 : 8:25:05 PM I'm not sure what you mean about why he didn't leave the British? You mean at the fort after the argument with Munro and why he didn't go with Jack Winthrop and the others? Aye, it was for Cora...it was the only reason he had to stay. "Because what I'm interested in is right here."
Can't recall him being "sedated" either. Do you mean the charges of sedition?
