Which track of the Randy Edelman/Trevor Jones The Last of the Mohicans soundtrack is your personal favorite?
Good time to maybe re-visit THE MOHICANS MUSICAL MUSINGS Tracks listed in the order they appear on the CD - I Will Find You is excluded from the poll. |

Posted - July 19 2004 : 8:41:12 PM My favorite is promontory. I love it! It's exciting and beautiful at the same time, ya know? I also like the music right after Uncas is killed and Alice is ready to jump off the cliff..but it's not on any of the soundtracks...DARN! lol.

Posted - May 26 2004 : 2:20:23 PM Great poll, Rich! But oh so hard to choose. I'm torn between the Glade Part II, Promentory, On Top of the World and Pieces of a Story. HELP! |

Posted - May 23 2004 : 11:44:00 AM I voted for "The Kiss," but what I mean by that is "The Gael," that lovely, haunting fiddle tune written by Dougie Maclean and played by Alasdair Fraser. A very strong second would be "The Elk Hunt," which is so perfectly matched to the action on screen. On seeing the movie for the first time, that scene really draws you in -- who are they? are they together? what are they running from, or to? -- and the music is a big part of that. |
