It provides animals for use in movies, commercials, etc. They had quite a variety of animals. Their add said they supplied something for LOTM, but no one could tell me what the animal was. The elk, maybe? They had an elk. Does anyone know?

Posted - November 05 2008 : 2:57:17 PM As you can see, this is an ANCIENT topic, BUT -
They ( MM ) wasted an unbelieveable amount of time ( way over an hour, I'm sure ) trying to get some shot of the panther while we were filming at Linneville Falls, before finally GIVING UP! That means the panther seen in the finished film was actually filmed elsewhere and inserted during editing. THAT'S probably where this Animal Park came in. |

As for the horses, I believe they were local ... I know one of the local vetinarians was on hand ... she raises horses ... maybe they were hers?

Posted - May 21 2002 : 12:50:08 AM Come to think of it, horses are the one animal I didn't see. They had Siberian tigers, a rhino, camels, emus (is that the plural of emu?), burros, deer, ibex, many cats, etc, but no horses. I guess they are not wild enough. There was a very nice elk. Any animal who was used in a movie has a star on its cage. The elk was roaming in the "safari" area, so I could n't tell if it had a star or not. One beautiful elk, though.
