Posted - April 18 2004 : 8:24:48 PM This this piece of information took me by surprize: DDL was asked to play the role of Aragorn in Lord of the Rings but he turned it down. Had you guys heard about this? For those who have seen LOTR, can you actually picture him portraying Aragorn? I really don't believe so. With that, I am not a huge fan of LOTR, but I have seen the first two, and I just cannot picture DDL being bound to the young and lovely Liv Tyler. Which is odd because Viggo Mortensen (who currently portrays Aragorn) is actually only a year younger than DDL, but... I don't know. I just don't see it. Your thoughts...
Thanks, ~V. |

Posted - April 19 2004 : 08:07:35 AM Well, my opinion is different..! I think that DDL and VM are the same kind of men. Rough. Full of courage. But I think VM was the perfect guy for Aragorn.
