OK ... Schweigster-ette, being friendly, as I always am - right, folks? - I'll do my best to orient you.

Ready?

• The whole place is the Mohican Board
• What used to be two seperate boards, are now combined as one - as Categories. We have The Mohican Board & The Against All Odds Board
• We'll just focus on the Mohican Board - Under that Category, are what are called Forums. That is what the E-mail was about. We moved your posts from one Forum [Gatherings] to another [LOTM]. That's all. The Forums' subject matter often times overlap, so it's no really big deal, but we do try to keep it somewhat organized.
• Let's say you click on the LOTM Forum - all the thread topics are listed in order of the most recent post. Up top, is a little drop down menu where you can choose how far back in time you want to be able to view - from Show All Topics to topics just posted within a day. It's your choice. At the bottom, is another drop-down menu that allows you to jump to another Forum [remember, they're ALL the Mohican Board!]
• Up top of all the board's pages, is a navigational menu that has links to special features of the board like Events & Polls, plus two very useful functions: Active Topics [shows you all topics that have had new posts since your last visit] & Search [allows you to search the board by keywords, posters name, date, etc.]

OK? Just try to think logically & read the content "criteria" for each Forum. Then choose which ever seems to make the most sense for whatever it is you are going to post about. This applies to new Topics only. If you're responding to a post, just post right there by clicking on Post a Reply. It's not that critical, mind you. The worst that happens is that we move your topic. When we do that, the Board automatically sends you an E-mail to notify you of that. That's what happened to you.

Really, it's quite simple ... just go slow & easy at first ... till you figure out what does what & what goes where!

Sounds like a lot of work, doesn't it ... hmmmm ... it's fun, though!
