Posted - March 20 2004 : 11:46:37 AM The music changes whenever they have impt scenes withthe both of them... 1)Riverwalk scene--Uncas stares at Alice when she is about to climb up the rocks..melody changes..to something sweeter..dreamier..yearning 2)Under the Falls--when she walks to the edge and Uncas pulls her back..melody changes again...more dramatic in a subtle way..as if there is a revelation...hmm..was thinking it was for those who didn't know Uncas liked Alice.. 3)At the cliffs-- the exchange of looks after he is slashed by magua..tempo becomes slower..dragging..very bittersweet... 4)Their bodies at the bottom of the cliff---music becomes shrill..very sad.... I thought the play of music was great.. |
