Recall.. the beginning..when they were attacked at the George Rd..she was screaming and hidng herself in Cora's srms..afraid to see...scared of dying.. But at the end..just before Uncas is slit at the throat by Magua..she watches with tears in her eyes..but she does not turn away..as she did earlier..it looks as if she does not want to miss anything about him..even death..she bravely looks on..i thought that was very significant..in my opinion anyway..:) |
