What we really should have done was take pictures of Deputy Barney. Way back in the day, when the Pres sent people to spy on college campuses, the folks being spied upon found that the most effective thing to do was to take pictures of those sent to spy on them. Seems people don't like having their picture taken. Makes them wonder why it is being done. |

I remembered something else that I heard frequently during this year's Gathering..."Check out mohicanpress.com. It's a great website and will tell you almost anything you'd want to know about the movie." It was said many times, by many people in response to questions about our cool Tshirts.

We SHOULD have told him that the land on that side of the river was a traditional Native American religious site (note our shirts) and that we had permission from AIM to be there, and that he was infringing on our religious rights as Native Americans and our Constitutional rights as well,, and asked him who his superior was, then turned around and pretended to make a cell phone call. |

That's funny that you use the word "jungle" to describe the hike to Cameron's Cabin. That word crossed my mind as I look back over my pictures from that day; it almost looks more like a scene from a Vietnam War movie than F&I War.
Another quote that most of you haven't heard yet, this one after leaving Lake James after a very long and tiring day on 2 hrs of sleep:
Stephanie: I'm so exhausted I think I'm seeing purple penguins!
April: Don't you mean purple pigeons?
Stephanie: Yeah I'm seeing those too!
