Sounds really great, and they have the whole Hickory Nut Gorge, 3500 acres! Sometimes good things really do happen.

LOL! When I followed the link I got an article titled "Man accused of cashing 40 fake checks at Wal-Mart"

I hope he didn't try to pass one of those checks to buy Chimney Rock!

BTW I eventually found some info on the sale of the park.

That's great news. Did they get all of what is not Chimney Rock? Or was some of it sold elsewhere?
