In the fall of 2004, devastating storms tore through much of the Southeast, including western NC. The Linville area was particularly hard hit with flooding and downed trees, and some of us were afraid that our special tree at the scene of the George Rd. Ambush would be gone. It was half fallen over anyway. But, here it is, the same as always...
