Posted - February 18 2003 : 3:34:04 PM WW!! And a "Halloo" to you, too! You are most welcome anytime at the fire. I have an ample supply of fine port, never fear.
I see my cousin, Flags, has offered to send you our Chronicles I-III.........by all means, you are going to enjoy them!
The snow has finally stopped and now is melting some. We are to have a good melt over the next three days......makes ME happy! I only hope it does not melt too fast and raise the creeks and rivers too high too quickly and create problems for our friends in the lowlands....
Enjoy your new reading material!

Posted - February 18 2003 : 12:09:07 PM Many Flags! How are ye, lad? I was thinking that perhaps you and your cousin, Sjt. Malcolm, had gone into hibernation with the bears or had fallen into a snow bank! I know how it is, though, in the wintertime. This season can keep us just as busy as any other.
It appears I will have to take your word for it on the wool breech clouts, but I am itching whilst merely thinking of it!
I will most definitely take you up on your very kind offer of sending me the first 2 volumes of The Chronicles! I'll send you a private message.
Thank you! |

Posted - February 18 2003 : 10:39:40 AM Wilderness Woman...welllll, if you want the complete set of Chonicles, I, II, III, contact me off line with your address and I will send them to you. As for breech clouts, I tend to be an expert...wearing mine for the past 15 years....nothing pretty, not fur lined, but very functional, broken in, and comfortable. Pax Aye! Many Flags (AND, with this latest snow of 24 inches, I may have some time to reminisce today and write a story in the new Chonicles....Hooooo AHHHHHHHH) |

Only on the boards... in The Muster and Cooperstown. Good evening, Seamus! How are you this fine, snowy evening? I hope to stop by in The Muster again soon and settle by your hearth with a cup of your fine port.
Actually, I have just started reading the Chronicles... that is the most recent batch posted on these boards. I have to find the old ones on the old board so I can read those as well. I think they will be fun and quite interesting. |

How are you, my sweet Southern Belles?
I can tell you that my squirrelfur-lined loincloth has felt real good this winter. It has been brutal cold!! Today we have received 14" of snow so far, with more falling heavily as we speak. The temp was 11 degrees this morning, and now the wind has kicked up, too! I am in the process of making stilts with snowshoes on them. Nothing gets your attention like a deep snow in a loincloth or a kilt!
